Crow & Whale
Crows exhibit a remarkable playfulness, often seen engaging in aerial acrobatics, sliding down snowy roofs, or playing games with other birds, which showcases their intelligence and social nature. In contrast, the deep resonance of the whale's song travels across vast ocean distances, serving as a complex communication system that reflects the rich, mysterious life beneath the waves. These two creatures, one soaring through the skies and the other flowing through the seas, highlight the diversity of animal behavior and the profound connections within nature.

I try to make most of my sculptures from repurposed wood. In this case, I found an old maple headboard that was headed into the wood chipper...(!)...which I brought it to my studio and gave it a new life.
