My creative mind is always on; seeing, feeling, observing, thinking, arranging compositions, and basically, engaging in a vital way with the world around me.
Flowing Forms of Color
Nature has no limits.
Microcosm of the bigger picture.
There are worlds within worlds.
The Ubiquitous Arrow
We would be lost without them.
Finding other worlds...
The beauty of form that is really not there.
Nature does it with such ease.
Basically, bending light...
Looking closely, they are everywhere.
Rope & Line
Ancient process still in practice.
Humans leaving their mark.
Tools of the Trade
Decades of handling, shuffling around on the tool bench, repairing thousands of pieces of jewelry...
Living by the Ocean.
Light from Within
It is there...one just needs to look.
The visual magic of water drops.
A place where alchemy takes place.
Rescued Handmade Beings
They have all found a home in my heart.
My philosophy of photography is to never go out in search for something specific. I want my response to come from a surprised vivid visual excitement. The photograph must be captured in the moment of encounter. No rearranging the physical objects. Not waiting for the light to change. This way the image is pure and without human intervention other than observation and the click of the shutter.
